There are 2 ways to do the shipping on the site.

1) General shipping options for all products. So you only have Ground,
2nd day, and Next day for example. The SAME price would be applied to any
product.

2) Explicit shipping options for every single product. In this case, you
have to create a shipping option called Ground, 2nd day, and Next day (for
example) and have different prices for every single product you sell. That means, if you
have 30 products, you'll end up with possibly 90 shipping options, each having its
own price. In order to save some work, some products could possibly be
shipped at the same price, so they can "share" a product shipping option.

If you go with option 2, then when you add or edit products, you should
set THAT shipping price to 0.00

The system was built this way to accomodate both general and explicit
shipping options.

Next, if the order is shipped out (via dropshipping) or if the customer has purchased an item from your custom inventory which you have shipped out, then you can change the status of the order to "Shipped"; basically, your job is completed. The status "cancelled" is reserved for any test orders or orders which you have not received payment for. Tracking information can also be added in the "Tracking" field. (Customers will see anything you type in here when they log in to their account.

If you feel the need to delete an order altogether, then checkmark all orders which you wish to delete, then click on the "Delete Selected".

If baskets ordered from your website are not from your own custom inventory, then you must order the baskets from your wholesaler (ie bazaargiftbaskets.com or your drop shipper). During the checkout process, fill out your own information, for the billing address, and for the ship to, fill out the information of the original order's ship to info. Do not use any information from the original order's billing info unless the customer is buying the basket for themselves and the ship to address is exactly the same.

Sign up on bazaar gift baskets, create a username and password, then you can start ordering gift baskets for drop shipping.

They have no monthly fees. If you don't wish to have any of Bazaar products on your gift site email us and we will remove all their products from your gift site.

If you only want to delete certain items that belongs to bazaar gift baskets, you can go to your product page in your admin and click on the green check mark to remove a gift item from bazaar gift baskets in the General Info page there is a list of over 500 gift distributors which you can contact to purchase gifts or pantry items direct.

Here are some suggestions before you rush into emailing every related gift site on the web:

1) Connecting to your FTP server

First, you will need a program that does FTP. We recommend SmartFTP because it is free, easy to use, but powerful as well. Using the username and password you received, open the FTP program and connect to the server (for example, if your website is http://www.mybasketsite.com, the server name will be "mybasketsite.com" without the quotes).

2) Uploading, downloading, and viewing your files

If you are using LeapFTP, you will see two file listings on the left and right. The files on the left are from your computer. The files on the right are on the FTP server. To move files around, simple drag and drop them from one side to another.

3) Editing your site template look

If you want to edit the site's layout, you should edit the "web/hook/top.php" file and the "web/hook/bot.php" files. Those files are .php files but have very little php in them. It's basically HTML. The "top.php" and "bot.php" is the html code that gets automatically attached to the top and bottom of every web page, respectively. If you see any non-HTML code in these files, do not modify the code unless you know PHP well.

4) Adding new pages to your website

The links currently on your site are full of code and to avoid mess and confusion, we keep it separate and update it all the time. But it is very easy to add to the site.

If you want to edit the content on the site of the existing links, just use the admin. You can, however, very easily add your own pages. For example, if I wanted to add a page called, "specials", here is what I would do.

# create a file "web/page/specials.php" and URL for this page would then be "http://www.mybasketsite.com/?page=specials"

5) Changing existing pages on your site


If you would like to change the content on your pages, it's best to use the admin site provided to you. This is because there is a good amount of code on each of the pages we provide to you. However, if you would like to use your own content entirely, it is easy.

Any file you place in "web/page" will have precedence over our code. That means, if you don't like the current "contacts" page, you can place a new file, like the example above, name it "contacts.php", and it will completely override the existing one at http://mybasketsite.com/?page=contacts

6) Changing your shipping prices


Edit the file called "config.php" in your web folder and add these two lines if they aren't already there:

There are two ways you can set your shipping feature for your products,

1.You can set a default ground shipping on each product + default Overnight/ 2nd day/ Express Saver/ etc...

You can Limit the States where you wish to send your products to by Zip code and States Code.

You can create a individual shipping option for a product, and a product option. For example you have a product that
has a ground shipping fee of $10 and overnight fee of $40. Your current overnight default value is $30. So you need to create
a custom shipping fee for this particular product so your shopping cart would charge your client $40 if they wish to send the
product overnight.

How Can I create a custom shipping price?

1.Login to your admin.

2.click on products button

3.choose and click on your products that you wish to add a shipping option.

4.Click on the plus (+) sign next to your shipping link.

5.Click on Add New Shipping Option

6.Create a name for your shipping: For example Overnight, or 2nd day.

7.Minimum:this feature is used for local pickup. Add zero 0 to this box
