2) Explicit shipping options for every single product. In this case, you

example) and have different prices for every single product you sell. That means, if you
have 30 products, you'll end up with possibly 90 shipping options, each having its
own price. In order to save some work, some products could possibly be
shipped at the same price, so they can "share" a product shipping option.

If you go with option 2, then when you add or edit products, you should
set THAT shipping price to 0.00

The system was built this way to accomodate both general and explicit

You can view your orders by clicking on the "Name". All orders will start out in the "Unpaid" category. If you successfully receive payment, then you can change the status of the order to "Paid".

Next, if the order is shipped out (via dropshipping) or if the customer has purchased an item from your custom inventory which you have shipped out, then you can change the status of the order to "Shipped"; basically, your job is completed. The status "cancelled" is reserved for any test orders or orders which you have not received payment for. Tracking information can also be added in the "Tracking" field. During the checkout process, fill out your own information, for the billing address, and for the ship to, fill out the information of the original order's ship to info. Do not use any information from the original order's billing info unless the customer is buying the basket for themselves and the ship to address is exactly the same.

When you are adding a drop shipper gift items to your website make sure you add a code to the beginning or end of a sku number so you know which drop shipper carries what item.

For example you sign up with drop shipper X. You want to add a gift basket of theirs to your website with sku number 19843, so you would know this gift basket belongs to Company X you should create a new sku number 19843X when you add their gift baskets to your gift site from the products page.

This will eliminate any confusion from which drop shipper you need to place your order once a client orders a gift item from your gift site.
When you receive your gift site you will have over 100 gift baskets added to your gift site from Bazaar Gift Baskets (www.bazaargiftbaskets.com).

You can place an order with Bazaar Gift Baskets when a client orders a gift basket from your gift site (make sure you have received payments for each order from your client), then you can place an order with Bazaar Gift Baskets for drop shipping to your client.

Sign up on bazaar gift baskets, create a username and password, then you can start ordering gift baskets for drop shipping.

3) Editing your site template look

If you want to edit the site's layout, you should edit the "web/hook/top.php" file and the "web/hook/bot.php" files. Those files are .php files but have very little php in them. It's basically HTML. The "top.php" and "bot.php" is the html code that gets automatically attached to the top and bottom of every web page, respectively. If you see any non-HTML code in these files, do not modify the code unless you know PHP well.

4) Adding new pages to your website

The links currently on your site are full of code and to avoid mess and confusion, we keep it separate and update it all the time. But it is very easy to add to the site.

If you want to edit the content on the site of the existing links, just use the admin. You can, however, very easily add your own pages. For example, if I wanted to add a page called, "specials", here is what I would do.

You can decide by clicking yes or no in your admin configuration page if you wish to round your product prices to .00 after markup.  The system currently changes all product prices to .95, if you wish you can modify the ending pricing with other values as well.  So for example  if you wish you can have all your products end with .85.  So the price all your products will end .85.

"Print this page" feature allows your clients to print out an specific product from your gift site. 

   

Q. 279 What is product option feature?
Product option feature will allow you to add different pricing to one single product.
For example let's say you have one gift basket in three different sizes.
Instead of adding three listing for each size, you can add the first product,
then from the option feature add the other two sizes and price.
So your client will view the product image and will have the option
to choose any other two size from the option menu from your gift site.

How to Add products to your product option feature


1.Login to your Admin

2.Click on products

3.Click on any of your products that you have added to your gift site to get to the option feature

4.on top of the description box click on the option Link with a plus sign behind it.

5.Add your product name, price, and click on browse for the image.

***If the product has the same image for all the sizes don't add image to the options.
For price take the price of the first product and deduct it from the second to get the price for the option.
For example. First product is $50 the second product for the option is large and is $60 so for the second product you must add only $10
in the price. If the third product is $70 you take $50 which is your first product and deduct from $70 and you will get $20. So for the price of option 3 the price would be $20.
You always deduct from product one to get the option price.
